Film-makers Elliott Abel and Eric Kozlowski have spent the past two years of their lives filming the work and life of outsider artist Russell Neswick. This blog is documenting the documentation of Russell, it will flow between the past and present as the film-makers and Russell refect on the time they have spent together filming a movie, and building the 8th wonder of the world "Fantasy Ocean".

Just Like Easter Island
This is the twelve minute short we shot after doing the three minute....looking at it now I'm really not happy with the way it turned out, I really dont think it captures the real Russel Neswick...and anyone who has ever met the guy would agree. Half the fun of hanging out with the guy is seeing how he interacts with people...mainly his family. So with the feature, my main goal was to focus as much on Russel and his family as much as I focused on Russel and his reef.....but it was a great learning experience...a stepping stone to something better.
